Bullpen / FAQ

questions, answered

Short answers. The mechanics in full are on the rules page.
01What is Bullpen for?+
Launching on StonkFun, the clean way. Two things: no vamps (a ticker, name and launch tweet lock on Bullpen for 3 days the moment the coin launches here) and no block-zero bundles (blind launches: the dev never sees the coin before it is live, and a public bundle check traces the early buyers).
02Why does my coin show up on stonkfun.xyz?+
Because it is a real StonkFun coin. Bullpen creates every coin on Raydium LaunchLab under StonkFun’s own platform config, the same way stonkfun.xyz does, so stonkfun.xyz lists it, it trades there like any other StonkFun coin, and it graduates to Raydium the same way. Bullpen only changes how the coin starts: blind, with its ticker locked here.
03Which pairs can I launch with?+
SOL, $STONK, or a tokenized stock (xStocks such as SPYx, NVDAx or TSLAx). These are the quote tokens StonkFun itself launches coins in. On a $STONK or stock pair the curve is priced in that token.
04What does Bullpen charge?+
Two things, and nothing else. A flat 0.03 SOL launch fee per coin (plus up to 0.02 SOL of Solana rent and network fees). And a 1% site fee on bonding-curve buys and sells of SOL-paired coins made through the trade box on this site; trade on stonkfun.xyz to skip it, and $STONK or stock-paired coins pay none. Separately, StonkFun’s own 1% platform fee and Raydium’s 0.25% apply to every curve trade, wherever it is made. Those go to StonkFun and Raydium, not to Bullpen. The trade box shows the total fee before you sign.
05What does it cost to launch?+
About 0.050 SOL from your own wallet: up to 0.02 SOL of Solana rent and network fees, plus the flat 0.03 SOL launch fee. The launch fee is there to stop slop deploys (mass launches with no ambition). If the coin is never created, the whole payment is refunded.
06What is a blind launch?+
Your wallet signs exactly one thing: a plain SOL payment to Bullpen’s deployer. It does not mention the coin, the mint or Raydium. Once the payment lands, our server waits a random few seconds (up to 15) and the deployer creates the pool on its own, with a mint the dev has never seen. You learn the mint at the same moment the rest of the chain does.
07How does that stop bundling?+
A bundle needs the dev to know the coin before anyone else: to pre-sign buys from fresh wallets, or to wrap the creation and their buys in one Jito bundle. With a blind launch the dev never sees the creation transaction, never signs it and does not know the mint until it is live, so there is nothing to bundle against. If the pool creation ever fails, the whole payment is sent back.
08What is the bundle check?+
A dev could still try to buy fast after launch from wallets they funded. So for every coin, the wallets that bought in the first 20 slots are traced back to the wallets that sent them SOL. Any early buyer that is the launcher, was funded by the launcher, was funded by another early buyer, or shares a funder with one is flagged, and the coin page shows how much of supply those linked wallets still hold. It is public for every coin.
09What about snipers?+
Raydium LaunchLab has no time-decaying fee, so Bullpen does not pretend to stop independent bots. What it does do is take away the dev’s head start: with a blind launch the dev learns the mint at the same moment as everyone else, and the bundle check shows who bought early.
10Do I, the creator, get any tokens or fees?+
No. There is no creator allocation and no dev buy, so nobody has an edge in the creation block. StonkFun does share part of its trading fee with each coin's creator, but on Bullpen the creator is Bullpen itself, because it creates every coin blind. That share goes straight into the flywheel: DexScreener for coins launched here, and buybacks that burn Bullpen's main coin and your coin. You can buy your own coin after launch like everyone else.
11Then why would I launch here?+
Because traders can check it. A coin with no block-zero bundle, a public bundle check and no clones on Bullpen for its first 3 days is an easier coin to rally people behind, and it is still a real StonkFun coin that trades on stonkfun.xyz.
12Do I need a launch tweet?+
No, it is optional. If you add the tweet announcing your coin, the coin page embeds it and the tweet locks for 3 days, so nobody can launch a copy from it on Bullpen.
13How does the ticker lock work?+
After a coin launches here, its ticker (case-insensitive), its name (ignoring case, spaces and symbols, so "Moon Cat" and "MoonCat" count as the same) and its tweet cannot be used again on Bullpen for 3 days. After that they are free again, and a new coin with them gets the same lock. Tickers that read like a recent coin (PEPE, P3PE, PEPE2) and images that are the same picture as a recent coin are allowed but flagged on the coin page. The check runs inside a single database transaction behind an advisory lock, so two people hitting launch at the same instant still produce exactly one coin. All of this covers launches on Bullpen only: nobody can stop a copy launching on stonkfun.xyz or any other site.
14Is there a limit per wallet?+
No. Launch whenever you like, from any wallet, as often as you like. Each launch pays the 0.03 SOL launch fee, which is what keeps spam expensive. The only thing that waits is a ticker: the same ticker or name can be launched again 3 days after its last launch.
15What happens at uplisting (graduation)?+
When the curve has raised its target (85 SOL on a SOL pair; $STONK and stock pairs use the target StonkFun uses for that pair), Raydium migrates the coin to a Raydium CPMM pool, exactly as for any StonkFun coin. The LP position goes to StonkFun’s lock wallet. Bullpen earns nothing from the graduated pool.
16Which wallets can I use?+
Any Solana wallet that supports Wallet Standard, such as Phantom, Solflare or Backpack, for launching and for trading. The coin page trades directly on the coin’s Raydium pool from the first second.
17Is there a rate limit on launching?+
No per-wallet or per-connection limit. The form runs a short automatic human check, and there is a high site-wide safety cap per day that normal use never reaches. IPs are stored only as salted hashes.
18Does any of this make a coin go up?+
No. The rules stop a dev from buying block zero and stop copies on Bullpen; price is set by the market, and anyone, the launcher included, can buy and sell on the open market. Memecoins are highly risky. Not financial advice.
